BIO
Mahnaz Aliyar is a researcher and lecturer in applied linguistics with expertise in second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and vocabulary learning. Her research explores how learners acquire vocabulary from authentic materials, with a particular focus on the roles of multimodal support and different input modalities in vocabulary learning. She is also interested in research methods, and quantitative data analysis. Mahnaz is committed to creating inclusive, evidence-based learning environments that support student engagement and success.
