I am passionate about higher education and developing positive outcomes for learners and educators. My research focuses on engineering and computer science education, higher education processes and the staff and student experience in the teaching and learning environment. I am also interested in engineering and computer science ethics, project management, gamification and games design.

My doctoral research was a Foucauldian Discourse Analysis of an Engineering programme focusing on academic discourse and its relation to the teaching and learning environment. In particular, I am interested in the operation of power in the educational space.
