BIO

I'm a physicist specialised in nano-optics—the interaction of light with nano-structured materials, optical spectroscopy, and electromagnetism. I also have a side interest in aspects of data science, data analysis and data visualisation.

Originally from France I studied in Physics and Engineering in Rennes and Polytechnique Montréal, Canada, before undertaking a PhD at the University of Exeter, UK. I then took postdoctoral positions in Vigo, Spain, Wellington, San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, before joining Victoria University of Wellington as Senior Lecturer in 2017. I am Associate Investigator with the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology and Principal Investigator with the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies.

Please visit our group's website at http://nano-optics.ac.nz for more information on my group's research.
