RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am a pure mathematician working in Operator Algebra and Abstract Algebra. My research is primarily focused on C*-algebras and abstract rings and algebras associated to mathematical objects such as groupoids, and directed graphs and their topological and higher-rank analogues. A significant portion of my research involves "twisting" these algebras by cohomological data and studying the effect on important properties of the algebras, such as simplicity. A major component of my research methodology is to solve problems by viewing them through both an operator-algebraic and abstract-algebraic lens. This is the focus of my Marsden Fund Fast-Start Grant (2025–2027), which I hold with Associate Investigator Distinguished Professor Benjamin Steinberg.
