TEACHING INTERESTS

I believe strongly in Landscape Architecture’s synthetic and collaborative capabilities and the potential for designers to problem-solve at scales, from the tectonic and tactile to the infrastructural, social and cultural. As an educator, I challenge students to embrace complexity and scale as fundamental conditions of landscape-related studies. My courses often prioritise problem-solving across scales through research, iterative, inductive, participatory and generative design processes, including mastery of technical information and interdisciplinary collaboration.
