After the completion of my PhD from Utrecht University, the Netherlands, I worked for nearly three years for Bank of America Corp. mainly based in Singapore with direct reporting line to BoA HQ in Charlotte, North Carolina. My job responsibility was on the financial modelling and risk management issue and quantitative solutions. My PhD was concerned on applied probability and financial stochastics that help a lot for my later job at the bank. I got an Ingenieur (Ir) degree (equivalent to MSc) majoring in stochastic systems and control from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. I held DAAD visiting scholarship to Goethe University of Frankfurt in October-November 2013, and was visiting scholar to Department of Statistics of London School of Economics in October 2013 and February 2018, to Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research of Columbia University in May 2014 and to Department of Technology, Operations and Statistics of the Stern School of Business of New York University in September 2019, and to Mathematical Institute of the University of Copenhagen in February 2020.
