BIO

Catherine has undergraduate and master’s degrees in Fine Arts. An interest in the cultural impact of technology led her to complete a PhD in Design Studies that explored how consumers make sense of social robots through storytelling. Her research and teaching explore how ethics are applied through design practice and products. This encompasses user-experience design, speculative design, and accessible design, particularly focusing on core accessibility competencies.
