BIO
I am English by birth, but have spent most of the last 45 years in New Zealand in university and CRI settings. I was trained at Imperial College, then part of the University of London, and first came to New Zealand as a visiting graduate student in 1978/79. After periods as a post-doctoral fellow, I joined the Institute of Geological & Nuclear Sciences in 1993, moved to Auckland University in 2005, then down to VUW in 2009.
