David Huijser is a Lecturer in Statistics with a strong focus on statistical education and applied data analysis. After completing a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Astronomy, he earned his PhD in Statistics from the University of Auckland. David is passionate about making complex statistical concepts accessible and engaging for students, and brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to his work. He now applies his expertise across diverse fields including astronomy, geochemistry, and health science. His interests include statistical modeling and data visualization.
