Dolores is an associate professor who specialises in US history, l9th & 20th Century, social or cultural history of US, US Southern history, US Western history and US Women's history. Her current research includes Media Moguls, Conservative Crusaders, and the Making of Reactionary Cultures in the USA, 1871-1971; Connecting Broken Threads: Left Feminism and the Emergence of Women’s History in the United States and New Zealand; Overcoming Inequality: Three Phases in the Struggle for Economic Rights and Social Citizenship in the United States, 1935-2021
