TEACHING INTERESTS

Ed teaches in a wide range of courses in philosophy. He teaches a course in philosophy of language almost every year, and often teaches in the introductory logic course. He also teaches courses in existentialist philosophy and phenomenology and has taught courses in theory of knowledge. For many years he taught courses in philosophy of science. At the postgraduate level he also teaches courses in logic, philosophy of science, philosophy of language, and philosophical methodology. He has supervised many MA and PhD theses on a wide range of subjects, including logic, philosophy of language, philosophy of psychology, conflict resolution, Wittgenstein, aesthetics, philosophy of medicine, Husserl, and the philosophy of accounting.
