Supervision Interests:
Gideon has a number of potential PhD projects which are available in the area of sensor instrumentation and micro structured materials for sensors or energy applications. Some examples of these projects are:
1. Instrumentation and methods for detection of oil spills under sea ice
2. Micro structured surfaces for phase change enhancement and heat transfer enhancement
3. Heat flow during drop impact and evaporation
4. Use of nano and micro particles for producing porous ceramics.
