I lead the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab at Victoria University of Wellington. We are particularly interested in how emotional states affect cognitive processes like attention, language, and executive control, and how cognitive processes affect emotional states. We use a range of research techniques including behavioural experiments, EEG, psychophysiology, and virtual reality.
