RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests center on Indigenous epistemologies within the Pacific region, exploring how traditional knowledge systems inform understanding of human-environment relationships through the lens of environmental and Pacific anthropology. I am particularly interested in multi-species interactions and the complex relationships that Pacific peoples maintain with non-human entities, including marine ecosystems and oceanic environments, examining how these connections shape both cultural practice and ecological knowledge.
