BIO

Dr Meng Yuan is currently a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) with the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He obtained his PhD degree in control systems, robotics and automation from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

 

Previously, Meng was a EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (project: SmartHEM) and Researcher with the Automatic Control research group in the Division of Systems and Control at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Before that, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

 

His research interests include modeling, learning-based control, and model predictive control for batteries, energy systems, mechatronics, and robotics.
