BIO

Robby Nadler is a lecturer for the Academic and Professional Writing Program. His research utilizes quasi-experimental designs to learn about nontraditional basic writers (typically at post-graduate and professional contexts), scientific writing & science communication, and professional & technical writing (particularly grant writing and job application materials). He also explores discourses and rhetorics (often related to space, queerness, Judaism, trauma, and language) and theorizes the future of writing with advent of generative artificial intelligence. In addition to academic writing, he also publishes in/works with creative writing genres (including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, play writing, spoken word, and screenwriting).
