Sanam is a Lecturer (Teaching) in the School of Education. His work spans environmental and sustainability education, curricular decolonisation, Indigenous education, international education, and curriculum studies. His research examines how global educational systems shape Indigenous communities and identities, and how historical and contemporary power structures influence cultural continuity and educational practice. Sanam is also passionate about mentoring students and supporting the educational experiences of diverse learners, particularly international students.
