Dr. Goh's area of research revolves around the utilization and impact of advanced technology in various settings. He possesses the expertise to guide and mentor Master's and PhD students undertaking research in diverse fields such as social media, emotion computing, AI classification, scam detection, learning science, and user behaviour.

In addition to his research pursuits, Tiong has actively contributed to the academic community.
